About this opportunity:

This individual will be a key member of the Marketing Operations Support Team, responsible for analyzing and preparing financial reports, building dashboards, and forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis.

The Analyst will prepare documents, graphs, and status reports, and deliver presentations to leadership. The role also requires strengths in change management and continuous improvement to identify new opportunities and challenge existing approaches to uncover profit potential.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform financial and operational reporting, analysis, and budgeting/forecasting across Marketing business channels, including Asphalt & Industrial Products and Canadian Products Marketing

  • Identify key risks, growth opportunities, emerging trends, and process improvement opportunities

  • Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, accruals, and entries

  • Support major projects and initiatives through financial and operational analysis

  • Coach and support junior team members in analysis, reporting, and business understanding

  • Collaborate with other departments to develop analytical tools and assess business impacts

  • Deliver weekly and monthly financial and operational reporting, including performance metrics against budgets and forecasts

  • Partner with business leads to develop, track, and report on KPIs, driving performance improvement and growth

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g., business or financial analysis)

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Commerce, Economics, or a related field

  • Strong understanding and analysis of financial statements

  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into forecasts to support decision-making

  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and dashboard creation

  • Experience with Spotfire or similar BI tools (e.g., Power BI) for data visualization

  • Proficiency in SAP (BI Reporting Module)
