Title: PDL - Project Domain Leader - Aerospace

Location: Mirabel, Quebec - Hybrid mode - 3 days a week on-site

CapGemini Engineering are looking for a Project Development Leader with experience in aerospace environments, cross functional communication with high level stakeholders and excellent ability to gather data, summarize risks and opportunities for top management and translate technical terms into laymen terms.

Tasks

  • Survey and ensure adherence to MISP (major in-service problem), competitiveness and sustainability milestones and CAW (Continuous Airworthiness) - safety issues.
  • Consolidate Risk & Operations at CoC (Center of Competence) level.
  • Collect all CoC flight/ground/rig test needs, coordinating with ABIV (Tests Department) to ensure that overall test plan satisfies these needs, and represents ABIE in the priority calls.
  • Coordinate the Monthly Business Review inputs at Department levels, and consolidate at CoC level
  • OP/FC (Operational plan and Forecast), budget consolidation and convergence with program and portfolios; formalizing by memo the CoC commitments
  • Finance Control for the CoC to meet its Target Letter and ensure adherence Budget envelope to TFO target (Top Function Objectives).

  • Coordinate KPI adherence and improvement actions (KPI not yet deployed - participate in KPI definition)
  • Drumbeat CoC level actions during meetings with different departments and section chiefs.
  • Lead Execution of PCR collectors (ex. Software builds)
  • Consolidate Project interdependencies (not intra-project as managed by DO) and facilitate arbitration between project priorities.
  • Privileged focal in the governance with a variety of departments, ensuring minutes/actions cascaded to relevant Ho Department
  • Identify/check complex Projects requiring Engineering Route Book.

Tâches

  • Surveiller et assurer le respect des jalons liés aux MISP (problèmes majeurs en service), à la compétitivité, à la durabilité et au CAW (Navigabilité continue) - enjeux de sécurité.
  • Consolider les risques et opérations au niveau du CoC (Centre de Compétence).
  • Recueillir tous les besoins en essais vol/sol/banc des CoC et coordonner avec l’ABIV (Département des essais) afin que le plan d’essais global réponde à ces besoins, et représenter l’ABIE dans les réunions de priorisation.
  • Coordonner les intrants pour la Revue Mensuelle des Opérations au niveau départemental et consolider au niveau du CoC.
  • Plan opérationnel et prévisions (OP/FC), consolidation du budget et alignement avec les programmes et portefeuilles ; formaliser les engagements du CoC par mémo.
  • Assurer le contrôle financier du CoC pour rencontrer les objectifs définis dans la Target Letter et garantir le respect de l’enveloppe budgétaire selon la cible TFO (Top Function Objectives).

  • Coordonner le suivi des KPI et les actions d’amélioration (KPI à déployer - participation à la définition).
  • Dynamiser et suivre les actions au niveau du CoC lors des rencontres avec les différents départements et chefs de section.
  • Diriger l’exécution des collecteurs PCR (ex. : versions logicielles).
  • Consolider les interdépendances entre projets (hors intra‑projet géré par le DO) et faciliter l’arbitrage entre priorités.
  • Servir de point focal privilégié dans la gouvernance avec divers départements et assurer la diffusion des comptes rendus/actions aux chefs de département concernés.
  • Identifier et valider les projets complexes nécessitant un Engineering Route Book.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $114,295 - $ 176,590 / year.
