Job summary
The Promotions Associate is responsible for planning and building displays throughout the store that are visually appealing and maximize impact on a day-to-day basis. This role involves store maintenance such as hole checks, stocking shelves, merchandising and customer service.

Responsibilities:
Promotions Team is responsible for filling and maintaining the Impulse Displays throughout the store.
You will be working on putting out products on our weekly flyers in addition to our other clearance
deals.
This requires an understanding of cross merchandising and creative problem solving in order to
work these promotions into existing feature areas.
You will be reworking several Displays within each of our departments as the seasons change to best
reflect Canadian Tire products for each department and season.
These reworks will require a more creative outlook in order to both follow the Design Standards and make adjustments based on the products to create high quality displays.
There will be certain third party products (FMA) that the Promotions Team will be required to feature
and maintain as they come in.
These products will be mixed into our regular displays to enhance and alter existing areas with the new and different products.
In detail, the Impulse and Feature Displays that Promotions are responsible for include; the cash lanes,
Queue Lane, wing panels, assorted bins, bases and end cap displays.
You will be filling, maintaining, and changing these locations on a regular basis with certain sections being your primary responsibility while assisting other team members as needed.
In addition you will be called to assist other departments as needed including primarily the Cash,
Warehouse, and Logistics Teams to help with increased workloads as they occur.

- Physical Ability to handle heavier products.
- Able to stay on their feet for long periods of time.
- Previous Merchandising experience a Plus.
Requirements / Skills
• No experience is required!!! - We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks according to instructions
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Result-oriented and customer-oriented
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
