As a Technology and Innovation Engineering Student, you will have the unique opportunity to be central to one of the world’s largest oil and gas operators and gain valuable hands-on engineering experience. This is a chance to work in a group that touches all aspects of our operations, including production, optimization, recovery, and the environment. You will gain baseline engineering experience and exposure in technology and innovation, working in a multidisciplinary environment. You will be exposed to all aspects of deploying technology and spurring innovation in a large organization.

- Job location: Calgary, AB
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday - Friday)
- Term length: 8 months
- Term starts: January, May or September 2026

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide technical support of data analysis and assistance for the preparation of various applications
- Create reports regarding new technologies in various disciplines
- Support the Technology and Innovation team in scouting, reviewing and deploying new technologies as well as spurring collaboration among business units
- Execute small projects related to technology and innovation
What You Bring to The Role:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Chemical or Mechanical engineering, all other engineering disciplines will be considered
- Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products is considered an asset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
- Motivated and positive attitude
- Required to be physically and mentally fit for work
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license with a reasonably clean driver abstract
- A pre-employment drug screening test must be successfully completed
