THE ROLE
As the golf course mechanic, you will perform maintenance of golf course equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals and inspect, test and diagnose issues on engines, motors and other mechanical components using test devices. You will advise manager/supervisor of requirements and/or replacement of components for golf course equipment, maintain records pertaining to golf course equipment and ensure coding of maintenance invoices. You will also maintain inventory of equipment, secure equipment and storage buildings and prepare golf course equipment for seasonal storage as well as any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in mechanics or a related field
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification
Valid Driver's Licence (ON)
Experience
In a mechanical trade
In welding
In small engine repair
