Description
We are looking for a Technical Electrical Designer to join the Can-Am On-Road Engineering Team. In this role, you will leverage your creativity and expertise in the design of electrical harnesses, components, and systems. Working closely with the mechanical engineering team, you will have a significant impact on the design, development, and validation of various projects.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Produce the technical drawings required for the manufacturing of electrical components for new vehicles;
Design wiring harnesses and parts in 3D;
Participate in component development and monitor prototype manufacturing activities;
Collaborate with designers and engineers throughout the problem-solving process;
Ensure the quality of the work performed.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
College diploma (D.E.C.) in Electrical Engineering Technology;
Any relevant experience will be considered;
Ability to communicate in both English and French, verbally and in writing, in routine professional situations;
Knowledge of CATIA and Capital Logic software would be considered an asset;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
