Team Leader Supplier Quality Product Developement

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Team Lead - SQD:

  • Manage a team of approximately six (6) technicians/engineers;

  • Manage employee needs and challenges;

  • Support employee growth and development to strengthen engagement;

  • Align and ensure the department’s vision and objectives to contribute to its success;

  • Contribute to the development of BRP’s culture and values within the department;

  • Be accountable for the team’s results (projects and HR).

Supplier Quality Assurance Project Manager - Product Development:

  • Identify, prioritize, and follow up on quality activities (RFM / P3QR) aimed at design robustness, manufacturing robustness, and the robustness of suppliers’ quality systems;

  • Plan and deliver project-specific quality objectives within a gated environment using NPD and APQP;

  • Develop and improve performance indicators for the quality team and suppliers;

  • Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives and Lean Quality initiatives.


YOU'ILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant discipline, with a strong interest in quality assurance;

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the manufacturing sector, including five (5) years in a quality-related supervisory role;

  • Strong knowledge of project management and new product development processes (NPD, APQP);

  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Strong communication and influencing skills;

  • Bilingualism required, both written and spoken (French and English); Spanish is an asset;

  • Strong team spirit and ability to mobilize and engage others;

  • Availability to travel occasionally for short trips.
