Team Lead, Packaging Strategy

BRP is seeking a dynamic and strategic Team Leader - Packaging Strategy (Interim) to elevate our packaging operations and drive cost-effective, innovative solutions. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact team within a world-class logistics organization and transform packaging into a strategic advantage for BRP. We’re looking for a forward-thinking leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at solving complex challenges, and is passionate about continuous improvement and cost optimization.

 

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering growth and accountability.

  • Own the budget for returnable packaging and proactively forecast future needs.

  • Conduct feasibility studies with a strong ROI focus to support strategic decisions.

  • Create compelling executive presentations to communicate packaging initiatives.

  • Manage end-to-end project implementation, from concept to execution at suppliers or BRP sites.

  • Represent packaging strategy in governance and decision-making forums.

  • Monitor and improve KPIs, driving performance across the department.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

  • Align packaging strategies with operational realities and supply chain dynamics.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

 

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in packaging within the automotive or recreational vehicle industry.

  • Demonstrated success in cost optimization with measurable business impact.

  • Bilingual fluency in English and French, both written and spoken in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec

  • Strong initiative, autonomy, and a sharp attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and budgets effectively.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
