Team Lead , Delivery

In this role, the team leader will supervise the delivery of ongoing projects, supporting the team's PMs in their functions.

This includes participating in the various steering committees for ongoing projects, approving team resource assignments, mentoring new PMs, and supervising PM interns.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Guide stakeholders on the agreed processes to achieve the desired results.

  • Communicate and/or present updates on the team's project portfolio.

  • Collaborate with managers to gather the necessary financial information.

  • Advise business stakeholders and team members on various dependencies.

  • Plan the capacity of the team under their supervision.

  • Manage the assignments of team members.

  • Support project managers during resource assignment conflicts.

  • Advise the team's project managers and guide them in starting and executing their projects.

  • Advise the team's project managers in developing their project and resource plans.

  • Assist the team's project managers in carrying out their projects in accordance with the project office deliverables.


THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information technology, computer engineering, or any other related discipline.

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management.

  • A minimum of five years' experience in team management.

  • A recognized certification in project management (PMP, ACP, PSM, etc.) would be an asset.

  • Solid understanding of operational, functional, and corporate processes.

  • Experience working in matrix and complex environments.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

  • Contributing to finding solutions: evaluates problematic situations, attempts to identify causes, explores possible solutions and submits recommendations.

  • Demonstrating leadership: mobilizes and inspires the resources under their responsibility, communicates clear expectations, and provides the necessary support to achieve individual and organizational project objectives.

  • Rigour: strictly and completely adheres to prescribed work procedures and methods to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy.
