We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer VCC who will report to the team leader SSV. As part of your role, you’ll directly contribute to the company’s success by innovating and continuously improving its products. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop air conditioning system components from design to production
Develop the vision that will guide air conditioning system development on upcoming platforms
Work with the design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams as well as suppliers at the different stages of product development
Contribute to setting performance criteria, developing validation plans for air conditioning system and ensuring plan execution
Carry out studies, analysis and calculations to guide designer technicians and project developers in their work, based on general and specific technical parameters
Work on development, design and testing of an air conditioning system on an off-road side-by-side vehicle.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
Fluency in English and French (written and spoken). English is required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis;
Be able to use the principles of mechanics, tolerancing and strength of materials;
Be familiar with the various operating and construction principles of motor vehicle mechanical systems;
Be available for occasional travel to our various manufacturing sites;
