Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Technician to join the engineering team. Reporting to the Chief Designer, Vehicle Engineering, you will have a major impact on the design, development, and validation of various mechanical systems for recreational vehicles.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Produce the technical drawings required for the manufacture of new vehicles;
Participate in component development and monitor prototype manufacturing;
Collaborate in the problem-solving process with the team's designers and engineers;
Create tracking files to optimize project progress.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Hold a college diploma in mechanical engineering;
Have a keen sense of mechanics and good 3D visualization skills;
Be proficient in software such as Catia V5 and SAP, an asset;
Excel in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards;
Have creative solutions to the problems you encounter and are recognized for your ingenuity;
Have a strong interest in BRP recreational products.
