SAP TM Functional Analyst

We are looking for a Senior TM Functional Analyst with proven expertise in Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA environments. This role requires a professional who not only has deep functional and technical knowledge but can also understand, align, and integrate with other related business processes.The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering S/4HANA TM implementation projects and continuous improvements initiatives across a large, complex SAP ecosystem.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Analyze transportation business and logistics requirements and translate them into SAP TM solutions

  • Configure SAP TM functionalities such as transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, charge calculation, tendering and BN4L( Business Network for Logistics)

  • Support integration with other related SAP modules (SD, MM, EWM, FI).

  • Develops functional and design specifications and work with technical teams to deliver the solution

  • Maintain system documentation, process flows and configuration design documents.

  • Supports peer review of design standards and specifications

  • Develop relationships with key business users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution

  • Collaborate with business users to understand pain points and recommend best practices.

  • Participate in the elaboration of projects/implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Work with Application Management Services (AMS) teams and other partners, and contribute towards continuous improvement and application maintenance activities

  • Develop and provide standards and best practices to the PMO and support teams for project delivery and application maintenance

  • Participate in relevant implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, including design, configuration, testing and implementation

  • Acquire knowledge of emerging functionality / solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within the businesses, where appropriate

  • Assist with the resolution of complex application support and maintenance issues, where relevant

  • Supports the business and SAP Business Advisors / Partners

  • Supports organizational change management functions in the development and delivery of end user training, change impact assessments and job aids

  • Collaborate with business users to understand pain points and recommend best practices

  • Suggest improvements for the solutions maintenance/operation

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • University degree or equivalent by experience

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in SAP Transportation Management(TM)

  • Expert knowledge of different phases of transportation management modules such as freight planning, execution, carrier selection (tendering/subcontracting), charge calculation, Freight settlement and master data such as business partner, location, transportation lane/zone and hierarchy, resources, freight agreement

  • Experience configuring SAP TM with BN4L( Business Network for Logistics)

  • Knowledge of SAP integration points with SD, MM, EWM, and S/4HANA

  • Demonstrate expertise in SAP Transportation Management functionalities and capable of designing and implementing SAP best practices

  • Perform an active role in the internal and external brainstorming and management meetings to bring our technical solutions to the next level.

  • Experience working with third-party integrations with SAP

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

  • Experience with cutover, go-live and data migration

  • Experience with international and large-scale projects

  • Training skills to share and transmit your know-how to your peers

  • Dynamic, innovative & problem resolution focus with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to constantly adapt and perform in ever evolving environments and business realities

  • You’re able to work in French and English (written and oral)
