YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Collaborate with users to understand their processes and identify relevant information within consumption tax processes.

  • Participate in design and development workshops for financial, sales, and procurement processes.

  • Assimilate the financial data model developed by the current project team.

  • Coordinate and execute activities related to the validation, mapping, cleansing, conversion, and migration of financial data.

  • Collaborate with users to identify and implement solutions to improve financial processes, specifically consumption tax processes.

  • Execute test scenarios.

  • Participate in problem-solving sessions.

  • Develop training materials related to financial processes.

  • Provide training to users.

  • Provide post-process-implementation support to users.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor's degree in administration.

  • A professional accounting designation (CPA) and training in sales tax would be considered assets.

  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience.

  • Experience with indirect tax processes.

  • Experience in IT project implementation.

  • Strong interest in information systems and technology.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English.

  • The ability to interact with a variety of personalities.

  • Knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, and CO) and OneSource tax software is considered an asset.

  • Intellectual curiosity, along with superior analytical and synthesis skills.

  • The ability to manage multiple high-priority files simultaneously.

  • Highly skilled at connecting concepts, simplifying complex situations, and managing change.

  • A desire to learn and an interest in becoming a recognized SAP/sales tax expert within the Finance department.

  • Versatility and leadership.

  • Any relevant experience will be considered.
