NVH Engineer

We are looking for a NVH Engineer who will report to the NVH Engineering Manager, and who’ll play a strategic role in the development and optimization of NVH performance across our vehicle platforms. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You’ll be at the forefront in the development of our new vehicles.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Define NVH performance criteria and objectives in collaboration with project teams.

  • Plan and monitor NVH development activities for your assigned projects.

  • Develop test protocols for powertrain systems and complete vehicles in lab environments, on dynamometers, and on test tracks.

  • Analyze test results and provide technical recommendations to meet NVH targets.

  • Influence the design of mechanical components and systems by proposing optimal solutions that balance NVH, cost, performance, and overall vehicle functionality.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • University degree in acoustics and vibrations, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related technical field. A graduate degree or relevant experience is considered an asset.

  • Experience in experimental data acquisition and analysis in acoustics and vibrations.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Simcenter Testlab, Matlab, GT Suite, INCA, or equivalent.

  • Practical knowledge of mechanical systems, internal combustion or electric powertrains, drivetrain systems, and engine calibration (an asset).

  • Ability to solve complex problems, work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate influence.

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written as you will collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside Canada.
