Manager Operational Excellence, Global Manufacturing Operations

BRP’s Global Manufacturing Operations are entering a defining moment. As our network expands and our operational demands evolve, we are building the next generation of our global Operational Excellence system to strengthen our ability to execute, learn and improve, at scale.

As Manager - Operational Excellence, Global Manufacturing Operations, reporting to the Director, Strategic Planning & Operational Excellence, you will play a central role in shaping this evolution. You’ll design and deploy the systems, routines, and standards that elevate our manufacturing maturity across Canada, Mexico, the United States, and Finland. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders, expand your cross-site network, and influence how we operate - every single day.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Align the Operational Excellence strategy across the network

  • Define unified Operational excellence framework, ensuring corporate, regional, and site teams converge toward a shared vision, language and transformational agenda.

  • Build a multi-year roadmap that connects principles to objectives, clarifies priorities and outlines the deployment plan across sites.

  • Establish the governance model - roles, responsibilities, decision mechanisms - to secure consistent execution and accountability across the network.

 

Build and deploy the Management System

  • Develop and evolve Management System architecture, standards, routines, and operating principles.

  • Integrate H&S, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and People into one cohesive operating system.

  • Develop and maintain OpEx tools, methodologies, and standard practices across manufacturing operations.

 

Standardize Continuous Improvement across all sites

  • Deploy a standardized toolbox based on best practices; including Lean & Six Sigma principles

  • Support sites in adopting CI standards and building durable improvement capabilities.

  • Support  global CI training programs to accelerate maturity and foster continuous learning

 

Engage the network and accelerate the OpEx culture

  • Promote OpEx identity, communication, and success stories to reinforce cultural adoption.

  • Lead the OpEx Community of Practice to share learnings and scale effective practices.

  • Support leaders embedding improvement behaviors into daily management and performance reviews.

 

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.

  • 10-15 years’ experience in OpEx, CI, Lean, or manufacturing transformation roles.

  • Proven success leading transformation, systems deployment, and cross-site standardization.

  • Strong Lean & Six Sigma expertise; Black Belt certification considered an asset.

  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with multi-level stakeholder alignment.

  • Effective collaborator with strong listening, empathy, and cross-functional teamwork.

  • Highly structured and organized, able to simplify, standardize, and scale processes.

  • Demonstrated change leadership with ability to drive momentum and adoption.

  • Fluency in English; Spanish or French proficiency is considered a strong asset.

  • Comfortable navigating diverse cultures and global manufacturing environments.

  • Continuous learner, staying current with OpEx methods and industry best practices.
