We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft 365 (M365) Administrator to join our dynamic IT team at BRP. This role is a critical extension of the M365 leadership function and will act as the go-to expert for the M365 Team. The ideal candidate brings extensive knowledge of the M365 ecosystem, thrives in complex technical environments, and excels at aligning technology solutions with business strategy. As a trusted advisor within the team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the platform’s evolution, architecture, integrations, and all related governance.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Serve as the senior M365 expert and trusted advisor for the M365 Team for strategic and operational decisions.

  • Participate in the On Call rotation for escalations and Major Incidents.

  • Lead the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the M365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Teams Phone.

  • Provide technical architectural input and support integration efforts between M365 services and other enterprise systems.

  • Act as the primary liaison with the cybersecurity team for all M365 related activities, within the Security portfolio, ensuring that any actions requiring their involvement, are properly coordinated and communicated.

  • Along with the M365 Team Lead and the Cybersecurity team, implement governance policies and cybersecurity requirements across all M365 services.

  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, ensuring high availability and adherence to best practices.

  • Provide Tier 3 expertise and escalation support, working closely with Service Desk and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.

  • Engage with Microsoft Premier Support and third-party vendors to drive timely issue resolution and service enhancements.

  • Manage user lifecycle activities including identity, access, licensing, and policy enforcement across Entra ID.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to assess needs and support project delivery.

  • Document technical procedures, knowledge base articles, and platform governance practices to ensure sustainability.

  • Stay current with M365 roadmap developments and proactively recommend improvements and innovation opportunities.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT roles, with at least 5 years focused on M365 administration and enterprise deployments.

  • Deep expertise in M365 hybrid environments, including:

    • Exchange Online & On-Prem

    • SharePoint Online

    • OneDrive

    • Microsoft Teams (including Teams Phone / Telephony)

    • Microsoft Purview

  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience automating M365 tasks.

  • Solid understanding of Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, and AD Connect.

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira or ServiceNow) and structured change management.

  • Proven experience in M365 service integration and platform optimization.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.

  • Strong documentation skills to clearly articulate processes, standards, and operational procedures.

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar are strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and proactively manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
