The IT Transfer to Operations (TTO) Specialist ensures the smooth transition of IT services and projects into operations by overseeing the operational readiness process. This role involves coordinating assessments, enforcing governance, and collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure IT services meet operational standards before going live. The specialist also plays a key role in process improvements, stakeholder communication, and ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Oversee the Transfer to Operations process, ensuring IT services meet defined criteria before transitioning to production.

  • Coordinate operational readiness assessments at key project milestones to mitigate risks and ensure service stability.

  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and service owners to align ITSM best practices with project deliverables.

  • Work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure compliance with governance structures and service agreements.

  • Ensure seamless handover of new or updated IT services by documenting processes, validating support models, and addressing gaps.

  • Drive process improvements for ITSM frameworks, focusing mostly on incidents.

  • Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring effective updates on operational readiness, service transitions, and potential risks.

  • Support the continuous improvement of ITSM tools and workflows to enhance service transition efficiency.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong expertise in ITIL practices, particularly in Service Transition, Change Management, and Operational Readiness.

  • Minimum five years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT operations, or service transition.

  • Bilingual (French, English) - written and spoken.

  • Experience in business relationship management and vendor coordination.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive initiatives independently.

  • Leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge and experience with Jira and ServiceNow - an asset.
