Description
Dealer connectivity is a key area supporting several business programs essential to BRP's growth by enabling data exchange between dealer systems (DMS and CRM) and BRP systems. The Dealer Connectivity Program (DCP) drives this connectivity. The analyst plays a key role in the evolution of solutions within the Global Dealer Technologies department by collaborating with the technical stakeholders supporting the solution (solutions architect, data analyst, developer, and cybersecurity) while being involved in discussions with users led by the Product Owner.
This position is ideal for quickly learning how things work at BRP! You'll be the go-to person for all development, certification, and support initiatives related to the dealership connectivity API and database portfolio.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Analyze current systems and processes: Assess the adequacy of the IT systems in relation to our program needs. Document processes and system linkages. Identify areas for improvement while prioritizing defects that require immediate attention.
Participate in designing new systems and processes: Define the technological requirements to meet user needs managed by the Product Owner, estimate the implementation effort, and prioritize the realization based on the benefits for the organization and its users. Oversee the development of all technological artifacts and ensure their proper functioning following their delivery.
Test new software: Prepare functional and integration test plans and execute them to ensure the solution meets needs and achieves the required level of performance. Configure environments to automate as many tests as possible and facilitate non-regression testing.
Certify interface integrations by software partners: Ensure that dealer management software (DMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) partners meet the portfolio's API integration standards and support them throughout the certification process.
