Your mission should you accept it:

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor acts as a generalist by offering support to his or her group of clients in the various areas of human resources management. Truly passionate about workforce management, planning, the development of training activities, the integration of new employees and especially teamwork, he/she responds to employees' ad hoc requests while participating in strategic actions to attract and retain talent. This role is carried out from our office located in Lévis, Quebec, in hybrid work mode.

  • University degree in human resources, organizational development, education or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in training and development;
  • Availability to travel occasionally (site visits and business travel);
  • Ability to communicate in both French and English, orally and in writing, in order to interact with employes,  partners, and colleagues at the national level;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, diplomacy, creativity, and sound judgment;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.

What you will do to complete this mission successfully:

  • Act as an HR go-to person for employés.es regarding payroll, benefits, company policies and related matters;
  • Carry out the process of welcoming and integrating employés.es and coordinating their mobilization in their workplace;
  • Ensure compliance with and enforcement of Borea's laws, standards, practices, procedures and policies;
  • Participate in the development of strategies, programs and tools with the aim of stimulating and maintaining the level of staff engagement and optimizing HR practices;
  • Communicate the company's values throughout the organization;
  • Provide an advisory role on human resources issues;
  • Participate in the organization of labour movements;
  • Support managers in the management, performance, planning, development, mobilization and retention of their teams;
  • Ensure the monitoring and management of training and performance evaluation activities.
