Role Overview

The Associate, Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) role supports the execution and ongoing management of programs for corporate clients. The role partners with SCS sales origination and cross-functional teams to support strong governance, analytics, and scalable delivery of receivables- and payables-based financing solutions.

This position is execution-focused and well suited for a detail-oriented professional seeking exposure to complex transaction banking structures and multi-stakeholder program delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Success Outcomes
  • Support the execution and ongoing management of supply-chain and working capital programs, delivering accurate, timely, and well-governed program support
  • Coordinate internal workstreams across Coverage, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology, ensuring clear ownership, effective communication, and timely delivery
  • Track approvals, conditions precedent, documentation status, and ongoing program changes, maintaining high-quality controls and audit-ready records
  • Assist in the preparation of approval materials, governance documentation, and internal reporting that are clear, complete, and decision-ready
  • Support coordination of legal documentation, true-sale opinions, and policy alignment, contributing to compliant and scalable program structures
  • Create and maintain client pitch materials and solution presentations that clearly articulate value propositions and structural considerations
  • Build and maintain pricing models and financial analyses that support sound transaction structuring and informed credit decisions
  • Assist in the preparation of risk assessment materials, including exposure analysis, structure summaries, and risk mitigants, supporting effective risk management
  • Support ongoing program management through utilization tracking, reporting, and issue resolution, contributing to stable and predictable program performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability over time
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, trade finance supply chain solutions, or a working capital solutions delivery role
  • Exposure to working capital, supply-chain finance and receivables-based financing
  • Familiarity with credit, legal documentation and governance processes within a financial institution
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with financial models, documentation, and controls
  • Strong Excel and presentation skills (PowerPoint)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, reliable, and execution-oriented mindset

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
