Mandate:
The Client Onboarding function, within Client Enablement, supports numerous global trading desks in order to directly contribute to business growth and revenue generation. Through a centralized onboarding model, in conjunction with other support functions in the client enablement process (e.g. Credit, Legal etc), our commitment is to deliver the highest standard of service to our internal, and external, clients and contribute to a great client experience overall.
Key Accountabilities:
- The role will support all of the BMO Global Markets desks in North America, by seamlessly onboarding new Capital Markets clients and coordinating the end-to-end flow from initial intake right through to initial trade execution.
- The Analyst will be responsible for delivering “white glove” client service while ensuring that all internal BMO policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements, are met.
- Partner with other internal stakeholder groups to facilitate the most efficient client experience.
- Respond to urgent client enablement requests and have the ability to solve problems as they arise.
- Technologically savvy with the ability to identify, and implement, automation opportunities.
Authorities:
- Prioritize work in accordance with procedure and LOB ranking to maximize financial benefit and minimize customer negative impacts.
- Ensure receipt of appropriate approvals/ authorizations in accordance with P&Ps and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and monitor a complex portfolio of work representing a significant amount of revenue generation.
- Monitor compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to directives, policies & procedures and regulatory/ government requirements.

This job has direct or indirect impact on the following:
- Contributes to customer confidence and satisfaction by ensuring client electronic onboarding experience is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Contributes to customer retention by ensuring requests to add clients are managed swiftly and accurately.
- Contributes to Bank financial performance by getting clients enabled in order to facilitate the Sales Organisation being able to realise client revenue as soon as possible.
- Contributes to the mitigation of reputational risk and financial loss against such things as fraud, money laundering and/or financial penalties by ensuring compliance with Bank P&Ps and regulatory requirements.

- Sales Organizations in Global Markets (Trading Products) and Investment & Corporate Banking
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge:
- An undergraduate degree in Business or a STEM related discipline.
- Some knowledge of trading products across Global Markets as well as Investment & Corporate Banking products.
Skills:
- Exceptional ability to independently manage multiple priorities and to proactively service multiple internal clients in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a demanding schedule under limited supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Ability to review, assess and provide detailed information daily ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with customers at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong conflict management/ resolution skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
- Experience with Bloomberg would be a plus

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
