Benefits


- Manage arrivals, departures and reservations;
- Provide guests with relevant information about hotel services as well as essential services outside the hotel;
- Manage complaints and respond to emergency situations;
- Perform administrative work related to the position;
- Perform any other related task or function related to the position, while ensuring that
company procedures and policies are applied.


  • Take, confirm, modify or cancel a reservation;
  • Greet guests upon arrival, verify reservation data;
  • Perform various transactions and/or data entry into Choice Advantage or other software inherent to the work at the front desk;
  • Assign rooms, hand over keys and provide information about the establishment;
  • Promote the establishment's services, tourist attractions and various activities in the region and make reservations as needed;
  • Receive and distribute mail or messages to customers;
  • Respond to customer requests (wake-up calls, room changes, etc.);
  • Handle and follow up on customer comments and complaints;
  • Any other tasks related to and/or necessary for the smooth running of operations.

Full-time daytime shift: Daytime shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Full-time evening shift: Evening shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requested skills

- Have an outstanding sense of customer service and know how to communicate in a professional manner;
- Be a team-oriented person;
- Be an excellent listener and know how to target the client's needs;
- Excellent command of spoken French and English;
- Have a good level of knowledge of basic computer software;
- Be flexible in terms of work hours and tasks to be performed;
- Be a rigorous person who cares about customer satisfaction;
- Knowledge of hotel software would be an asset.


  • Hold a high school diploma or vocational diploma or equivalent;
  • Bilingualism;
  • Proficiency in the Windows environment and the Office suite;
  • Knowledge of hotel management software (asset);
  • Ability to conduct monetary transactions;
  • Strong sense of customer service;
  • Sales skills;
  • Stress tolerance;
  • Speed of execution;
  • Responsible, resourceful, courteous and smiling;
  • Professional attitudes and behaviours (discretion, honesty, teamwork skills, autonomy, etc.)
