We are currently partnering with a leading Quebec-based industrial and manufacturing organization seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to support its growth, digital transformation initiatives, and long-term technology strategy.

This strategic role will be responsible for aligning business priorities with technology roadmaps and enterprise architecture practices to support operational excellence, organizational growth, and business transformation.

The organization operates multiple business units with distinct operational realities and relies on a complex technology ecosystem that includes ERP, MES, CRM, and various enterprise applications. As part of its continued evolution, the company is looking to establish and mature its Enterprise Architecture practice to ensure alignment between business objectives, processes, data, applications, and technology platforms.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Architect to build the foundations of an Enterprise Architecture function, influence strategic technology decisions, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and evolve the Enterprise Architecture practice across the organization.
  • Develop the target-state architecture covering business capabilities, processes, applications, data, and technology.
  • Document and map the current application landscape while establishing architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to support the selection, integration, and evolution of enterprise solutions.
  • Contribute to digital transformation, business modernization, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and interoperability across enterprise platforms, including ERP, MES, CRM, and other corporate systems.
  • Support technology governance, application portfolio management, and risk reduction related to data and system integrations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to managers, directors, and executive leadership teams.
  • Produce architecture roadmaps, reference models, enterprise architecture artifacts, and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and Enterprise Architecture best practices to support organizational evolution.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Digital Transformation, or Organizational Transformation.
  • Experience working within complex enterprise environments involving ERP, MES, CRM, and other enterprise business systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF or equivalent.
  • Experience in business process mapping, application architecture, technology governance, and systems integration.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and effectively communicate complex concepts to both business and technical audiences.
  • Pragmatic, results-oriented approach focused on delivering business value.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, including the ability to collaborate with external vendors and partners.

  • Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
  • Hybrid work model: 3 days per week onsite in Quebec City (near the Quebec City Exhibition Centre).
