As a Technical Lead, Recalibration, you will be responsible for mastering the recalibration process approved by Belron, while understanding our current capabilities (equipment and required skills) and future needs to successfully carry out all recalibrations.
You will be Belron Canada's internal expert on tool capabilities, helping to define the skills and knowledge required for our technicians performing recalibrations, and establishing troubleshooting steps in case of issues that prevent successful recalibrations.
This person will work closely with the camera recalibration coordinator to support continuous improvement of recalibration services and develop best practices.
This person needs to collaborate across the company, including with the vehicle glass repair and replacement technical lead and technical trainers, to create new solutions and optimize workflows to contribute to successful recalibrations while enhancing the customer experience.
This person will also participate in resolving recalibration issues reported by customers and collaborate with the business to prevent recurrence of such problems.
This person will develop and implement training programs related to equipment, tools, and emerging technologies
This person is responsible for working on various special projects, including the development and implementation of those initiatives.
Requirements
6 to 12 years of experience in a relevant technical or operational role
Bilingual (French/English), both spoken and written
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership, training, and influencing abilities
Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Excellent organizational and priority management skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and autonomous
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Quick learner with a strong aptitude for understanding and working with technology
Adaptability to technological changes
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to document and simplify processes effectively
