Your Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to join our Strategy, Value Creation & Analytics (SVCA) practice within BDO’s Financial Advisory Services team. In this role, you will lead business analytics and AI driven transformation engagements, drawing on both professional services expertise and advanced technical fluency, collaborate directly with executive-level clients, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of consultants and analysts.
As part of the team, you will operate at the unique intersection of business and technology - translating complex business and financial requirements into actionable, data-informed solutions. This role positions you as a bridge between strategic business goals and technical execution, enabling more informed decision-making across both domains. You will help our clients transform how they use data and analytics to make decisions, generate value, and enable business transformation. This role requires deep business acumen, technical fluency, and the ability to communicate complex analytical insights & solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Client Leadership
- Lead delivery of complex analytics and AI engagements with accountability for timelines, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Partner directly with clients to understand their business challenges and design tailored, data-driven strategies to address them.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior leadership across multiple industries.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and participate in client pitches.
- Build long-term client relationships and support practice growth through thought leadership, industry insights, and partnership building.
- Team Management & Development
- Manage and mentor teams of Consultants and Senior Consultants through project execution, skill development, and career progression.
- Create an inclusive, high-performance culture focused on learning, quality, and innovation.
- Operations & Delivery
- Translate business and financial problems into structured analytics approaches by designing solutions across the data lifecycle - from extraction to insight delivery.
- Guide the integration of financial, operational, and external data sources to support scenario modeling, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct hands-on quality assurance (QA/QC) of analytics deliverables (e.g., models, dashboards, data pipelines) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
- Lead the development of reusable analytics assets, templates, and methodologies that enhance team efficiency and project consistency.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering AI enabled solutions (eg: Predictive modeling, gen AI, automation) with a business or consulting context.

Your Experience And Education
- 6-10 years of experience in management consulting (Big 4 or other top-tier professional services firm preferred), with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Strong educational background in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree is an asset.
- Proven success managing teams and delivering complex data-driven projects in a client-facing environment.
- Solid understanding of financial fundamentals and experience integrating analytics into business strategy.
- Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, AI tools, SQL, Azure, Python/R, Power Query, and advanced Excel; experience with gen AI, LLM and Langhian is an asset.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to distill complex analytics into business-ready insights.
