Your Opportunity

BDO Canada is seeking a Delivery Lead to join our Salesforce team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading enterprise-scale Salesforce delivery and strategy projects. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and clients to ensure successful execution of project goals, from discovery through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the functional delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business value.
  • Translate desired engagement outcomes into actionable delivery plans and ensure their execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including scope definition, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Advise clients on their enterprise strategic objectives. Define roadmaps and outcomes based on current state journeys and pain points.
  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to validate requirements and ensure traceability through delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain project momentum.
  • Support the development of project estimates, proposals, and resource planning.
  • Champion the agile methodology to software and strategy delivery, adapting approaches to suit project needs.
  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure high-quality delivery and professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in software delivery, with at least 3 years in a leadership or delivery management role.
  • 5+ years experience in consulting or client-facing environments.
  • Experience running client discoveries into current state resulting in journey/process maps and pain points.
  • Proven experience delivering Salesforce or similar CRM/enterprise platform projects.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, agile, and waterfall methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder) are an asset.
