PTD is responsible for land, water, and fish and wildlife authorizations on behalf of the ministry, and supports critical priority government projects, including Housing, Connectivity and Electrification. Job Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in a natural resource management related field (e.g., Forestry, Geography, or Natural Resource Management) or an equivalent combination of education/training, plus 3 or more years experience working in a natural resource discipline. Experience in negotiating/mediating solutions in natural resource management. Experience managing multiple projects, or leading a component of a project, using project management standards, principles and tools Experience establishing, building and maintaining collaborative working relationships to facilitate solutions in process improvements in natural resource management. Experience in managing multidisciplinary issues involved in natural resource management. Preference may be given to applicants with 1 or more of the following: 3 or more years of experience in leading or managing multiple projects. 3 or more years of experience in working in collaborative environments with Indigenous nations and various stakeholder groups to advance natural resource developments in British Columbia. Fully licensed registered professional with one of the following associations: Association of BC Forest Professionals, BC Institute of Agrologists, or Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.
