This position supports informed decision making for BC Parks and Recreation Sites and Trails under various pieces of legislation, considering frameworks and guidance utilized for other natural resource decisions across the Crown land base. Job Requirements: Masters degree in a natural resource management field and 2 years of related experience; OR Bachelors degree in a natural resource management field and 3 years of related experience; OR Diploma in a natural resource management field and 4 years related experience; OR Certificate or coursework in a natural resource management field and 5 years related experience; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Related experience includes EACH of the following: Experience in negotiating /mediating solutions in natural resource management. Experience (field/office) working in resource management. Preferences Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following: Experience performing technical duties and working with key statutes that support natural resource management. Experience working with Cumulative Effects Framework (CEF) value assessments Experience reviewing park use permit applications and/or applications under the Forest and Range Practices Act.
