Job Summary

Share your high-level administrative skills to support the citizens of British Columbia

The Ministry of Children and Family Development provides services that support healthy, safe environments where children are connected to their families and community. The ministry delivers most of its services locally through contracted agencies as well as through centrally administered provincial programs.

Office Assistants provide general administrative, clerical, and program support to the work unit.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an office setting.

Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

  • Post-secondary Administrative course work.
  • Experience working in a Social Services setting.
  • Experience working with ICM (Integrated Case Management) and Management Information System (MIS).
  • Applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.
