Job Title:
Administrative Assistant

Immediate Supervisor:
Human Resources Director

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, the Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support and ensures the smooth execution of processes related to human resources management. This person plays a key role in coordinating daily administrative activities and maintaining an organized and compliant work environment.

Main Responsibilities: HR Support:
  • Conduct pre-screening calls as part of the recruitment process;

  • Oversee the onboarding and integration process for new employees;

  • Prepare employee files, ensuring all necessary documents are complete and compliant;

  • Collaborate with the payroll department to communicate relevant information;

  • Update human resources policies, processes, and procedures;

  • Contribute to the implementation of other HR projects;

General Administrative Duties:
  • Welcome visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate person;

  • Draft internal communications and employee postings;

  • Update various administrative files;

  • Write and edit procedures established by the employer;

  • Order and manage office supplies inventory;

  • Perform any other related tasks.

Profile Sought:
  • College diploma in a related field;

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role;

  • Excellent spoken and written French;

  • Proficient in computer and office environments;

  • Mastery of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams);

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset).
