The Grande Prairie Public School?Division?is looking for?Information Technology Summer Students?to join their Information Technology (IT)?Department.?Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, IT Summer Students will primarily?be responsible for?providing?internal IT support in the field. This summer, GPPSD IT Department will undertake its computer refresh as part of the evergreening process. Summer IT students will play a pivotal role in assisting with unpacking, re-imaging, and deploying equipment to all school sites within the School Division. GPPSD has 18 schools,?two?office sites, over 5000 computers, and approximately 8700 students.
Qualifications:
Working towards a diploma from a technical program at a post-secondary institution or equivalent training and/or experience.
A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license in good standing is?required?for this position.?A recent driver’s abstract and criminal record check will be?required.
We are looking for someone with skills in the following areas:
Windows 11
Setting up new computers
