Senior Account Director – Major Accounts

What the day will look like 

 

  • Complex Account Management: Oversee all aspects of client service for large and complex accounts, ensuring flawless quality and high client satisfaction. 
  • Market Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers and partners to secure optimal solutions for clients. 
  • Negotiation of Tailored Solutions: Design and negotiate customized insurance programs for major clients, particularly in the public and manufacturing sectors. 
  • Risk Management Strategies: Develop innovative risk management and risk financing strategies tailored to the needs of large accounts. 
  • Cross-Sector Collaboration: Facilitate discussions with Health and Wealth solution experts to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize client value. 
  • Administration and Compliance: Ensure all administrative tasks related to the portfolio align with client expectations and internal policies.

Skills and experience that will lead to success 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent number of years of professional experience 
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in commercial property and casualty insurance and project management 
  • Excellent negotiation and client service skills 
  • In-depth practical knowledge of the insurance market, assigned client needs, and key industry sectors 
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills 
  • French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally. 
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service 
  • Proficiency in MS Office software 
  • Commercial insurance license (AMF license) 
  • At least one of the following designations will be considered a significant asset: CRM, CIP, FCIP, and CAIB
