We are seeking an Associate Account Executive (AAE) to join our Performance Security and Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) team within the Construction & Infrastructure Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of experience in insurance, finance, construction, or a related field who is eager to develop expertise in a specialized and growing area of risk management.
You’ll work alongside experienced professionals to support the delivery of performance security solutions—including surety bonds and SDI programs—to leading construction clients across Canada.

What the day will look like
  • Assist in servicing a portfolio of construction clients with performance security and SDI needs
  • Support the placement and renewal of SDI programs and surety bonds
  • Coordinate with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to gather required documentation and facilitate timely approvals
  • Help review contracts and insurance documents to ensure compliance with bonding and SDI requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks such as invoicing, bond issuance, and policy documentation
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations with senior team members
  • Contribute to internal initiatives focused on innovation and process improvement
  • Monitor client accounts and assist with collections and reporting
  • Support business development efforts through research, lead generation, and proposal preparation

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • 1–3 years of experience in insurance, finance, construction, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Familiarity with financial statements, contracts, or insurance policies is an asset
  • Interest in construction, infrastructure, or risk management
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
