As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. You will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems on the hospitalist/general medicine service.

As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. In addition, you will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems and oversee activities related to compounding and packaging.

Completion of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Current, provisional or transferable registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacist.

Advanced Prescribing Authority. Recent experience (within 2 years) as a Pharmacist in an inpatient hospital setting providing comprehensive medication management services in a collaborative care model. Previous experience in general medicine or internal medicine. Canadian accredited pharmacy residency program. Advanced clinical pharmacy degree (post-baccalaureate PharmD) or advanced clinical training credentials (e.g. Certified Diabetes Educator, Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist). Recent (within 1 year) project or volunteer experience. Recent (within 2 years), experience with training or precepting. Active membership and involvement with CSHP.
