YOUR ROLE

As a Chief of Information & Technology, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all activities related to information technology. You will ensure the performance, security, and evolution of IT systems to effectively support the company’s operations and strategic objectives. You will oversee technological infrastructure, manage IT projects, supervise the team, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes. As a Chief of information and technology you will play a key role in implementing innovative and securing technological solutions tailored to the organization’s needs. You will perform any other related duties as assigned.

Requested skills

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE?

  • College diploma or University degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent;
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in information technology, including 5 years of management experience;
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, cybersecurity) are considered an asset;
  • Bilingual (French/English). Proficiency in English is required on a daily basis in order to communicate with employees and collaborators at other stations and bases;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, etc.), network infrastructure, telephony systems, and cloud-based environments, along with a solid understanding of information security and cybersecurity challenges.
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principles, as well as IT best practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Experience in the aviation industry is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Cree language is considered an asset.
