Job Description
Agence de Placement Trésor Inc. is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients in the construction and civil engineering sector an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic (Journeyperson). The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and specialized vehicles used for transportation, snow removal, and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on heavy trucks

Repair and replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and electrical components

Perform preventive maintenance and system adjustments

Service specialized equipment such as snow removal systems and auxiliary equipment

Conduct testing and road trials after repairs

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
Profile Requirements

Training in heavy vehicle mechanics
-
5 to 10 years of relevant experience

Journeyperson experience required

Ability to lift heavy loads

Strong time management and task prioritization skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
