The Work

As a Yokogawa DCS Developer / Engineer / Technologist, you will support the design, configuration, programming, and implementation of Yokogawa Centum VP and Prosafe‑RS (SIS) systems for clients across various industrial sectors.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and participate in activities from design development through commissioning and client acceptance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, programming, and configuration of Yokogawa Centum VP DCS and Prosafe‑RS SIS systems.
  • Develop DCS software and hardware specifications aligned with project and plant requirements.
  • Create DCS templates, programming standards, naming conventions, and graphics standards to meet IFC/IFP deliverable needs.
  • Participate in engineering reviews including control philosophy, P&ID, HAZOP, and functional design assessments.
  • Prepare high-quality technical documentation and engineering work packages.
  • Execute commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities remotely and onsite.
  • Deliver maintenance and lifecycle support on previously implemented systems.
  • Maintain strong communication with project teams and clients to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Manage schedule, priorities, and deliverables for assigned scope.

Qualifications

Here’s what you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR a Diploma in Technology in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Yokogawa Centum VP and Prosafe‑RS (SIS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced project environments with competing deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability for travel as required.
  • Oil & Gas project experience (asset).

Bonus points if you have:

  • PLC experience with one or more: Rockwell, Schneider/Modicon, GE RX3i, Siemens.
  • DCS experience with DeltaV, Honeywell, ABB 800xA (asset).
  • HMI experience with FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Citect, iFix.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
  • Software skills (MS Office, SQL, VBScript, Access).
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing, Mining, Forestry, Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, or similar environments.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
