You are:
An experienced Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the vision for the product by being the voice of the customer, following a human-centered design approach.
The Work:
Our client is a company that provides a wide range of financial services and products to individuals, businesses, and institutions.
Responsibilities:
- As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the vision for the product by being the voice of the customer, following a human-centered design approach.
- You will shape and manage the product roadmap and product backlog, ensuring the product team consistently delivers on the client's needs and wants. Additionally, you will validate and test ideas through recurrent feedback loops to ensure knowledge discovery informs timely direction changes.
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
- You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the product team to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
- Conduct regular product reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog that reflects customer needs and business objectives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform product decisions and enhance user experience.
- Mentor and support team members in adopting best practices in agile methodologies and product management.
- In office attendance for 3-4 days in our Accenture Mississauga office.
Here’s what you need:
- A minimum of three year of experience as a Product Owner with an Agile Methodology
- Expert proficiency in Agile Project Management is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Banking Payments Applications is mandatory.
- Expert proficiency in Software Product Management, Agile Methodology, and advanced proficiency in Core Banking are suggested.
- Bachelors degree or college diploma in related field.

- Experience in the Banking Industry
