We focus on client adoption of disruptive technologies, technology architecture and providing specialized skills related to integration, custom software engineering, testing, application modernization, agile and more. We help our clients with the most complex projects including working on open web platforms, DevOps platforms as well as intelligent Computing and Architecture enhancement.

WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services using Node.js and Firebase Cloud Functions.

  • Implement and manage RESTful APIs to support various frontend applications (web, mobile).

  • Integrate with and manage data in both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Firestore) databases.

  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers to understand their needs and provide efficient API solutions.

  • Develop and implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Firebase Authentication.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.

  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions.

  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security within the Firebase ecosystem.

  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js, Firebase, and cloud computing technologies.

  • Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

  • This role will require willingness to attend either the client site or Accenture office for at least 2 days every week in person in Toronto, ON.
