Jumpstart your career journey with Accenture’s Security Summer Analyst Internship!
As a Security Summer Analyst, you’ll team up with peers and mentors to work on real-world projects that help protect client systems from cyber threats. Throughout the internship, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced professionals who’ll collaborate and guide as you build your skills in threat detection, risk analysis, and security operations. Internship program starts in June and runs approximately 10 weeks
What Your Summer Role Could Look Like…
Be part of a meaningful summer project where your ideas and input truly matter you’ll help solve real business problems using the latest tech and tools, culminating with an internship deliverable and showcase.
Get hands-on experience in areas like OT/ICS security, penetration testing, and threat modeling to understand how cyber threats play out in different environments.
Build your skills with leading scanning tools and stay up to date with the latest security technologies, monitoring security breaches and investigating cyberattacks.
Work alongside other cybersecurity experts to analyze data, assess risks, and determine the impact and level of risk for clients.
Build and implement security measures like firewalls and encryption.
Collaborate in-person with your team, clients, and company leaders to build relationships, learn from others, and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive workplace.
Receive ongoing support and guidance from a mentor (or "buddy") who’ll help you grow professionally and navigate your summer experience.
Apply soft skills, including communication, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and strong organizational abilities.
Required Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Information Security, Security, Risk Analysis, Digital Forensic or a related STEM discipline with an anticipated graduation date (at the time of application) of December 2026 through August 2027.

Prior internship or work experience.

Preferred certifications: Security +, Network + , AZ-900, AI-900

If applying for Montreal location, must be fluently bilingual in English and French

If applying for Ottawa location, must be eligible for Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with programming languages (ex. Java, Python, Ruby, etc.), modern frameworks (ex. Angular.js, Node.js, etc.) and/or lifecycle data management, supply chain, finance, etc.

Exposure to programming-related projects in Web Design, AI and/or Application Design.

Exposure to cyber security related work like IAM, vulnerability testing, Risk and compliance framework, data privacy, cloud security or SAP, Oracle Security . Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 frameworks

Interest in new emerging technologies such as Cloud, AI, Security, and leading business application packages.

Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic, solid technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, leadership, attention to detail and experience working on a team.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada.
