A.W. Chesterton is a leading international manufacturer of industrial fluid sealing systems, high performance protective coatings and specialized industrial maintenance products is seeking a new technician for its Montreal mechanical seal repair center.

As a service technician, you will work under the supervision of our Eastern Canada Service Center Director.

Your mandate will be, among other things:
  • Perform various repair or re-work tasks in accordance with detailed work instructions and engineering standards of our mechanical seals. You must be able to read and understand instructions and follow a clearly written and described sequence of instructions.
  • Set up and operate simple machines, i.e. air blasters and polishing tools.
  • Use various hand and power tools, i.e. drill press.
  • Perform simple in-process quality control functions based on established engineering standards.
  • Operate a CNC for cutting gaskets.
  • Apply ceramic coatings to small industrial parts.
  • Perform tasks for modifying pumps
  • May carry out work tasks with instructions, if necessary.
  • Perform other manufacturing floor functions, including shipping and receiving products for the repair center.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
