How we make adifference
Since its inception in 2003, our Purolator Tackle Hunger® (PTH) program has helped deliver the equivalent of more than 7.5 million pounds of food to food banks across Canada.
Purolator is committed to helping alleviate hunger in the communities where we operate. We partner with customers and food banks across Canada to collect donations and help raise awareness about the issue of hunger in Canada.
Our employees are involved in several events throughout the year with a common goal of continually increasing the reach of the program and raising more food and cash donations each year.
Partnering with the Canadian Football League (CFL)
At one game in every CFL city each year, Purolator organizes a food drive and fundraiser, where fans are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items or a cash donation to the volunteers stationed at the stadium. In return, fans have the chance to get their digital picture taken with the Grey Cup.
As part of the PTH program, Purolator has donated 12 refurbished curbside delivery vehicles to local food banks and food organizations across Canada.
