Pay Range: $55,000 - $85,000

By architecting data collection strategies and translating complex primary and secondary research into clear narratives, this role acts as the engine behind strategic decisions aimed at growing market share. The Analyst functions as a vital service provider to Marketing and Merchandising teams, ensuring that strategic decisions are validated by rigorous, fact-based intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Research Execution
- Independently manage the lifecycle of small- to mid-sized research projects, ensuring analytical rigor from inception to delivery.
- Draft detailed research briefs and design surveys that capture high-quality raw data.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources, including surveys, qualitative research, and industry reports, to create a single source of truth for the business.
Strategic Insights & Influence
- Transform raw data tables into professional, exec-level PowerPoint reports that highlight key recommendations.
- Provide actionable intelligence that helps business partners navigate DIYer and Pro customer expectations.
- Apply methodological expertise in path-to-purchase and usage studies to identify market share growth opportunities.

Minimum Education:
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Market Research, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of progressive professional experience in analytics or market research, preferably within retail or e-commerce.
Minimum Leadership Experience:
- Requires demonstrated ability to work independently and manage external vendor partners.
Certifications:
- Post-secondary research analyst program certificate an asset
Other Requirements/Assets:
- Asset: Proficiency in building automated dashboards and utilizing existing research toolkits to streamline execution.
