Are you on the path to earning your CPA designation? Our Accounting and Finance Intern/Co-op Program, available at our Toronto and Kitchener-Waterloo offices, provides invaluable hands-on experience and serves as a direct pathway to our CPA Development Program. You'll gain technical expertise, business insight, and leadership skills while collaborating with dedicated accounting professionals in a supportive and nurturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for undergraduate students eager to acquire real-world experience in accounting and finance.
Available Roles for the Summer 2026 Term: Audit and Advisory Services, Financial Reporting, Management Analysis, Corporate Tax, Controls Program, and Finance Transformation.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support and handle aspects of reporting while understanding monthly and quarterly deliverables.
- Prepare monthly reports including analysis related to job functions.
- Meet with leaders to review submissions and highlight possible risks and opportunities while taking initiative to escalate issues impacting reporting functions.
- Support Month-end production and reporting work, including journal entries, budgets, adjustments, Actuals to Budget analysis, consolidating Reporting packages.
- Gain proficiency in investigating financial ledgers, statements, and journals using various software tools and Excel.
- Acquire expertise in accounting practices, including reconciling, and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts, all while adhering to corporate standards.
- Lead the continuous improvements of existing reporting processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business or accounting, with a strong interest in accounting and finance and a solid foundation in general business principles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, along with exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of working both independently and as part of a team while exercising sound judgment.
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail, effectively prioritizing tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to identify and recommend improvements to streamline existing processes.
- Supports the development and implementation of new processes.
- Responds to challenges and opportunities with a positive and productive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Access and Visual Basic is required for some roles.
