Description
Sr. Mobile Dev (React Native, Android/Kotlin) to support our payment client's Android & iOS product development
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Etobicoke, Hybrid (3x/week)
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be a key contributor on a mobile‑focused Scrum team to help design, build, and launch a new product on both iOS and Android platforms
- Develop and delivery high-quality, high-security, and high-availability solutions for iOS and Android applications
- Champion engineering best practices (such as shift left testing) and continuous improvement
- Help foster a fun, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
- Maintain strong test coverage, secure infrastructure and clean code practices
Must Haves:
- Proven development experience with React Native, and Android (Kotlin)
- Experience architecting and delivering high-quality, high-security, and high-availability solutions
- Experience using GitHub and GitHub actions
- Experience writing test automation (unit, API, and UI would be great)
- A passion for continuous learning about emerging technologies and software best practices, including AI
- Strong communication, collaboration, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- iOS Developer (Swift)
AI may be used in evaluating candidates.
