Senior Technical Project Manager to support Loyalty Program initiatives

Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to support Loyalty Technology Program initiatives.

Start: ASAP

Duration: Until December 2026, with possibility of extension

Location: Brampton / North York / Downtown Toronto - 3-4 days during ramp up, then flexible to 2 days/week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Loyalty Technology initiatives, including POS implementation across retail locations
• Develop and manage integrated project plans spanning business, technology, operations, and vendor teams
• Partner closely with stores and technology teams to ensure seamless rollout and adoption of POS loyalty technology initiative
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and critical path items
• Prepare executive-level materials, including steering committee decks and status reporting
• Drive proactive stakeholder communication across senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Manage third-party vendors and external partners where applicable

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ Technical Project Management experience
• Agile delivery experience; proficient with Jira, Confluence, Slack and collaboration tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to present to senior stakeholders, and ability to speak to both technical and non-technical teams
• Must be comfortable working in a less-than-structured environment, fast-paced environment to drive initiatives forward, as opposed to simply documenting statuses

Nice to Haves:

• Retail, telecommunications, or loyalty platform experience preferred
• Experience delivering Loyalty Technology Program initiatives, experience implementing or enhancing loyalty capabilities
