Senior Solutions Architect with Investment Platforms Integration experience supporting our client in the banking industry

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support a large-scale modernization initiative within the retail investment platforms space. This role will focus on the integration of a third-party SaaS platform (Broadridge) into the banking environment, replacing a 25-year-old legacy system. The successful candidate will be accountable for designing and socializing end-to-end solutions, guiding workshops with business and technology stakeholders, and ensuring architectural integrity across platforms.

• Lead the architecture design and integration of SaaS vendor solutions into a complex banking environment.
• Conduct and facilitate technical and business workshops to flush out requirements, integrations, and advisor experience needs.
• Drive solution design from high-level concepts to detailed end-to-end architectures.
• Apply architecture governance practices, including formal decisions and Architecture Board Reviews.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, including business leaders and technology executives, to socialize and gain buy-in for solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and developers across the program.
• Ensure non-functional requirements (security, data, resiliency, performance) are integrated into all designs.
• Collaborate closely with teams handling core banking, deposit systems, client data, and retail investment platforms.

• 10+ years of solution architecture experience, with 5+ years in large-scale integration projects.
• Proven experience integrating SaaS solutions into financial services environments.
• Strong background in financial services with exposure to retail investment products (RRSP, TFSA, FHSA, RESP, mutual funds, cash deposits, etc.).
• Deep understanding of architecture governance, board reviews, and formal decision-making frameworks.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience running large technical workshops.
• Ability to effectively present and socialize solutions to senior business and technology leaders.
• Technical expertise in:
• API and microservice design
• Logical data modeling & data architecture
• Event streaming (e.g., Kafka)
• Cloud platforms & security integration
• Data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)

• Experience with Broadridge or other third-party retail investment platforms.
• Previous work with major Canadian banks or similar financial institutions.
• Background in modernizing or replacing legacy banking platforms
