Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Scrum Master (5+ years) to lead multiple scrum teams using scaled agile frameworks

Join a long-term, high-impact initiative supporting a value creation plan within the banking technology domain. This contract role leads 2-3 scrum teams delivering software development projects under scaled agile methodologies. Offering visibility across major TDS programs, the position supports product delivery for critical organizational priorities with potential for extension or conversion.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 2 days onsite, might increase to 4 days

Duration: 1 year

Must Haves

• Minimum 5 years as a Scrum Master operating in a scaled agile environment
• 5+ years in software development settings (preferably outside a financial institution)
• Hands-on with Jira for agile team coordination and delivery tracking
• Expert understanding of Scaled Agile ceremonies and framework concepts

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with other agile systems such as Kanban
• Experience applying systems or design thinking principles
• Undergraduate degree
• Scrum Master or SAFe Agile certification

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 scrum teams to deliver initiatives under the value creation plan for TDS
• Facilitate agile ceremonies across teams in alignment with scaled agile practices
• Coordinate with software development teams to support sprint execution and delivery
• Ensure adherence to agile processes promoting team transparency and velocity improvement
• Engage with project stakeholders to maintain clear communication on progress and dependencies
• Support continuous improvement efforts and agile maturity within assigned teams
