Senior Quality Engineering Performance Engineer to support a large-scale Core Banking Integration and Migration Program.

Our Financial Services Client is looking for a Senior Quality Engineering Performance Engineer to support a large-scale Core Banking Integration and Migration Program. This role will focus on validating migration-scale system performance, ensuring the target core banking platform and downstream integrations remain stable, responsive, and scalable throughout all phases of migration and testing activities within a highly regulated banking environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in validating enterprise-wide migration performance across core banking systems, ETL processes, databases, and downstream applications. This individual will work closely with migration, reconciliation, and quality engineering teams to support mock rehearsals, phased migration testing, and production readiness activities.

3.5 months contract to start, 100% Remote (Candidates must be located in BC, ON, or AB)

• 7+ years of Quality Engineering and Performance Testing experience
• Strong experience with enterprise-scale migration and integration programs
• Hands-on experience with:
• JMeter
• LoadRunner
• SQL
• Database performance analysis
• Experience validating ETL and migration performance across distributed systems
• Strong troubleshooting and performance bottleneck analysis capabilities
• Experience supporting large-scale testing initiatives within enterprise environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

• Temenos T24 or core banking platform exposure
• Experience supporting merger, acquisition, or core banking transformation initiatives
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, Databricks, or Python
• Experience working within risk-based testing environments

• Validate migration performance across core banking and downstream systems
• Identify performance bottlenecks within ETL processing, databases, integrations, and interfaces
• Conduct load, stress, and performance testing during migration mock rehearsals
• Validate platform stability and responsiveness using migrated production-scale datasets
• Support phased performance testing strategy as migration activities progress through gates and milestones
• Collaborate closely with migration, reconciliation, and QE teams during validation cycles
• Support end-to-end performance validation across integrated banking ecosystems
• Contribute to production readiness and cutover support activities
• Participate in risk-based testing and prioritization discussions under aggressive delivery timelines
