We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer - Performance & Resilience Management with deep expertise in performance testing, scalability, resilience, and non-functional testing. This role focuses on ensuring that new and enhanced systems meet defined performance, reliability, and resilience standards across complex enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will design, plan, and execute performance and resilience testing strategies using industry-leading tools, while partnering closely with engineering, infrastructure, and SRE teams to identify and resolve performance-related issues. This role is typically delivered in a billable services or implementation environment.

Duration - 6 months plus extension

Work Mode - Hybrid 3 to 4 days per week on site downtown Toronto

Must Haves

• Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner (test plan creation, scripting, execution, and analysis)
• Expertise in Dynatrace performance monitoring, including dashboard creation and analysis
• Experience with Gremlin for chaos engineering and resilience testing
• Solid understanding of SRE practices and reliability engineering concepts
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and performance analysis
• Proven ability to manage and deliver end-to-end non-functional testing independently

Strong understanding of payments technology, including SWIFT, ACH, and Fedwire

• Banking and financial services domain experience is required

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and execute performance, load, scalability, and resilience tests across applications, networks, and infrastructure
• Develop and maintain performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution strategies
• Define and evolve the performance test automation framework
• Execute and analyze performance test results, conducting deep-dive analysis to identify bottlenecks and risks
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and SRE teams to resolve performance and resilience issues
• Lead non-functional testing activities independently, including test planning, execution, analysis, and sign-off
• Plan and execute chaos and resilience testing to validate system reliability under failure scenarios
• Clearly document findings, provide recommendations, and articulate test sign-offs to stakeholders
